the RULES !
Rules are set aside for a reason. We are not in the real world, therefore they are not just created and broken, like many people do. So follow them and we all stay happy as a clam.


• please respect everyone on the site. as a member you are expected to respect other members that role play on this site. this also includes staff members especially. the staff are very important people that developed this site so show respect to them. also, the guests. even though some speak negatively, we shouldn't listen to them.

• continuing on from respecting ... if you have a problem with another member of the site, please keep your negative behavior away from the site. no fighting in private messages or among the boards. that's not what these role plays are created for. so if you have a problem with another member, talk to me, or any other staff member about it.

• when it comes to out of character things, there are a few things to be expected. when it comes to foul language, keep it to a minimum. there's no need to swear so much. also, don't do anything that will upset other members. that means no racism, sexism, etc etc. that's just wrong. i will not tolerate discrimination.

• when it comes to role playing, we like lengthy, detailed posts. we like a minimum of 250 words. it's really not too hard. you make characters you can get good muse with. sure, you'll have writers block and all, we understand that...we all get it, but there's a reason you choose your own characters...so you know how good your muse will be.

• please post in third person. it's just easier to understand better and it's what most people role play as anyway. so no first person please. "belle walked down the street." NOT "i walked down the street."

• spelling is relevant. if you can't spell a word, remember, there is a spell check right near the post message button. click that and check your spelling is correct. also remember that even if something is spelled wrong to someone, it may be spelled correctly to others, like myself. i'm australian, therefore we spell it colour and not color.

• you can have more than one character per person on this site. however, only one character per account. so if you want another character, create a new account. but remember to be active with all your characters. | keyword: firebolt | so if you know you will be, you can have as many as you want. but try not to go for all the major canons, try to keep most open for other people. also, if you make more accounts, you must have one boy for every two girls you make. we want to keep the balance equal. so please, don't all join as girls, cause that's what some people do.

• character cursing is allowed, because the majority of teenagers around the world curse too. but don't swear too much. that's just going overboard. i know there are those few people that actually do curse every two words in a sentence ... but not everyone are those few people.

• when choosing your play by, make sure the age for your character is based around what the pb looks like or how old they are. we don't want a pb that's really eighteen to be playing a thirteen year old. it's different, however, if you use pictures of them based at that age. all play bys must be real people. this means no cartoons, animals etc. that's just ... not right. you don't see cartoons or anime people walking down the street.

• this site is rated for any kind of role play between G - R. but be careful if your making heavy posts. warn others about the post by having 'R' in your thread title. If you don't and an admin reads it, discovering it to be for mature audiences ... then you will be informed and a warning will be made.

• when role playing, no one is god. no one is god in reality so there's no point being god in role play. so no controlling other members characters. if you were allowed to do that, there'd be no need for two members to post with each other now would there? also, you're character isn't perfect, so bad things will happen to them.

• when it comes to highly bad or unexpected things, like characters dying or getting pregnant, speak to me about it first and wait until i approve it. if you don't and just go on with it without my acknowledgment beforehand, there will be consequences.

• when you've made your character, you must have a 100x100 avatar and a signature of your character. if you cannot make a siggy, then go to the graphics area and there will surely be someone willing to do it for you. otherwise ... it's called a picture that you can get from a celebrity website or google images.

• have fun! follow rules! and we'll all be happy!
