RULES FOR OF THE MONTHS!?
Quick key points to remember when Of The Month Voting starts.
•• it's one vote per member, not character. you can only vote once.
•• voting polls will be made 10-14 days before the beginning of the next month. they will be voting for the member of the month later. e.g voting end of february for march of the months.
•• not everyone seems to vote on sites, whether they miss out on the times or whatever ... but for those that do, you will be awarded five points for each of your student characters houses.
•• student winners of an otm award will be awarded twenty points for their house.
•• nominations will start on the 15th of every month and the 20th is when the actual voting will begin.
•• once nominations have been made, there will be no more accepted. the 21st of each month is the final day for nominations and votings will be made between the 21st-30th/31st. you will vote from those nominations and no others.
NOMINATIONS
•• female of the month: a female roleplaying character, whether student or adult, will be awarded this position. female of the month must be an active member who has at least one roleplaying thread. this roleplaying thread must be active (can be completed), but must have at least three posts from that female character.
•• male of the month: a male roleplaying character, whether student or adult, will be awarded this position. male of the month must be an active member who has at least one roleplaying thread. this roleplaying thread must be active (can be completed), but must have at least three posts from that male character.
•• couple of the month: this does not have to be awarded to a pair that are together. it can be just a crush, a developing relationship, or it can indeed be a couple in a relationship. you can nominate a pair who you think are cute together (remember don't actually have to be dating). however, they must have a thread between them. remember, they don't have to be a guy and a girl; there are bisexuals and homosexuals on this site too.
•• friends of the month: this award can be awarded to two or three characters (so a duo or a trio friendship). if two: there must be an active thread between these two members. if three: there must be an active thread involving these three characters.
•• enemies of the month: is awarded to two characters who absolutely hate each other. there must be an active thread, proving this hate for each other.
•• thread of the month: we've removed the common room passwords so that members can see threads of other characters so that they can make a vote for this specific otm award. obviously there needs to be a thread involved. it can involve however many characters you want. it just needs to be one that you find stands out above all.
