BUT CAN YOU TELL ONE FROM THE NEXT?
books are fun, since most end with a happily ever after. and even if they don't, you
cry, put it aside and you get over it. it's a lot harder when your life is caught in its own
unhappily ever after. it's 1980 and it's war. casualties on all sides, the time of living life
is over. you can't be a teenager if you're expected to be a warrior. all you can do now
is brace yourself and survive. as long as is necessary.
