[/size]CAINE WALKED out of the castle. It has been a boring past couple of days, all he did was work out and do homework. He was actually surprised, really. He was normally the rebel type when it came to homework, but that's how bored he was. It was shocking, he actually understood the lesson more than he had previously. Sure, he always understood the lessons and got good test scores, it was just the homework that brought his grades down. He didn't particularly care anyway, he already knew what he was doing when he got out of school and even that was only a couple of months away.
Looking down at his left shoulder, he smiled. He had gotten the tattoo of the Dark Mark when he killed his parents, just after he moved in with his aunt. She had forced him to get it and at first he didn't want to. But the way people looked at him when he had it was great. It was almost fear, but at the same time it was curiosity. Especially when the bloody muggles looked at it and asked what it was. He just scoffed and turned away from them, walking away. It was pretty funny actually. Some of them just shrugged and turned away, but most of them would try to yell at him and come after him, shaking their fists at him. That is when he pulled out his wand (subtly, of course) and muttered Aguimenti, laughing when they slipped in the puddle of water or when their whole leg got soaked.
Sure, it was stupid little pranks and whatnot on muggles that satisfied him, but if he would have it his way he would be more than satisfied. He would turn around and torture them. But according to his aunt he wasn't allowed to do that yet. Not until the Dark Lord gave everyone permission.
And you thought he was dead. Pshaw.
As he came to the edge of the Forbidden Forest, he stopped quickly and looked around, making sure nobody was going to follow him in. He smirked and started in the forest, walking in a couple yards and stopped at a tree. Not any tree in particular, it was the tree that him and Jeremy had hid all of their things in. It was where some of Jeremy's old schoolbooks and his wand were. Caine pulled out his own wand and pointed it at the tree, casting a spell him and Jeremy had made up to uncover all of their hidden memories. Caine hadn't visited this tree in months, since mid school year last year. A lot of the stuff was just forgotten memories. As he picked up one of the pair's old notebooks, he flipped through it, reading some of the notes in it. Most of it, muggle hate.
Yes, Caine's hate for muggles started a couple months previously to when Jeremy died. It was when Jeremy's muggle foster parents kicked him out after finding his wand and other Hogwarts things. They confronted him about it and when he told them, they laughed in his face. Then kicked him out for being "crazy". They even tried putting him in a mental institution for it, but he never went. He went from place to place, much like Caine does.
He pulled out an old photograph book, seeing a couple old pictures of the two of them. They were inseparable; brothers. And the school year before he died, they carved things in a tree off to the right. It was just their names. Caine smiled and walked over to it, only to find out that someone else had been there. He grimaced; this was always their spot. Who could have written anything? Under their names, it said something about them being gay lovers. Caine scowled and pulled his wand out. "INCENDIO." he said through gritted teeth, burning the comment off of the tree. That had been a suspicion of some people between the pair because they were always together. But it was anything but true. A lie. They were brothers. Brothers.
Then he heard something snap behind him and he turned around, pointing his wand at the person. "Who are you?" he sneered, looking the person up and down. He didn't know what house this person was in or how long they had been standing there, but he knew one thing. They most likely followed him into the forest.
