river's hair is long and dark, previously a chocolate brown before changing to black. It is long, naturally straight but she likes to wave, falling below her shoulders. She usually wears it hanging down, rarely tying it up. Her skin is between pale and slightly tanned, not really developing any colour in her pale-slight tan feature. She's average in height, and is quite slim. Her natural eye colour is brown but she likes to experiment and change her eye colour every now and then.

River Roana Greyback is a very unique kind of girl. She's one of those sort-of-quiet-and-shy kind of girls when she's around people she doesn't know, but she's actually a very outgoing random person. She is very strange and she tends to stick to herself and her group of friends. She is very secretive, she is a good person to trust with anything and she's always there to help out and try to offer some advice, even though she's not the best person for giving advice. She's a very determined girl who isn't afraid of telling people what she reckons and she tends to speak her mind at the wrong times. When people first meet her, they just reckon she's some ordinary young girl, but then they'll see her again being the complete opposite and they'll consider it a twin or a whole different person.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Alexandria Till was a young and talented witch. She married a wizard, Darren Staub, and they had a beautiful baby girl. Alexandria thought she couldn't be happier. She had an amazing husband and a beautiful daughter. But, the happy ending turned into a disaster when Darren was murdered. They never discovered who had murdered Darren, but Alexandria grew depressed, she hadn't wanted to stop at one child. She wanted another child at least, a son perhaps. Then she met Fenrir Greyback two and a half years later. Soon enough, she was pregnant ... however she soon had another baby girl. She called her River Greyback, deciding to take her fathers last name. However, Alexandria had been a witch raised in France and attended Beauxbatons Academy, moving to London after her schooling years. She was one of those people who hadn't known much about the Death Eaters. Yes, she knew all about Voldemort and his followers, but she hadn't known exactly who these people were. So, she hadn't known Fenrir Greyback was not only a Death Eater, but a werewolf. When she did, however, find out ... it scared her, knowing that her youngest was half werewolf.

River's werewolf half didn't kick in until she was ten. For some reason, while she was growing as a small child, her half werewolf senses never kicked in, so she never changed into a werewolf when the full moon hit. Strange? Indeed. But it was good for Alexandria because she didn't know how to handle it. She contacted Fenrir to take care of her, not really thinking he was such an evil man. When River was nine, when her werewolf senses were kicking in, Fenrir took her, at least to get her used to his genes. Of course, he loved being a werewolf and he taught her to be evil. Even at ten, River was able to understand things and she didn't like what he was making her become. She ran away from Fenrir, wanting to find her mother again. She met a wizard who was able to help her with her werewolf problem. He took her to her mother and informed her about the Wolfsbane potion. So when she was eleven, when she got her letter for Hogwarts, she was excited. She wasn't scared about hurting anyone now that she had the help of the professors and the potion.

Her school life was average. She had a decent group of friends and was good with most of her subjects. She kept to herself. She didn't get too involved, never joined the quidditch team and wasn't a prefect. She kept to herself and her friends. She didn't like to drag attention to herself, especially if people knew what she was. She didn't realise everyone knew she was half werewolf, she just thought there were people who hated her just because. But then it came to the end of the year. She had finished, it was all over.

Her mother died just two years before River had finished her schooling. River was raised by her older sister, whom she loved but felt sorry for. She thought her sister felt ashamed that her sister was half werewolf. So as much as she loved her sister, she left her alone most of the time, only being around her when she wanted to be around River. Their mother had owned a very unique clothing store in Diagon Alley. It hadn't sold clothing like robes and stuff. The items there were more of what Muggles would call the Scene look. River and her sister adored the fashion. After their mother died, River's sister owned the shop and River co-owned the shop as well. As much as she loved working at the shop, she wanted to be a part of the Ministry of Magic. She applied for a position in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, because Care of Magical Creatures had been her specialty and they always fascinated her. Because of her excellent knowledge in magical creatures, the Ministry gave her the position of Head of the Beast, Being and Spirit Division, being one of the youngest Heads within the Ministry.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]
